Administrator Interface
Your QuickByte Web Hosting Server Administrator control panel is available
by going to http://yourdomain.com/cpanel. Enter your Login ID and a Password
that were assigned with your hosting account.
From the Server Administrator menu you can:
- Edit your client contact
- Access and manage your domains, including setting up mail functions
such as adding mailboxes, setting up mail forwarding, aliases and mail
groups. Additionally you can add users, create passworded directories,
create & manage databases, etc.
- Manage your web files
- View Logs & Statistics
- Create & Manage Data Bases
- Plus a lot more!
Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the cPanel screen that
gives you menu selections to administrator your site.
Online Help & Documentation is available to assist you in
administering your pages. Please click on the Help or Documentation
links at the bottom of each page.
Additional
User Administration Options
- Webmail services. You can check your
mail, reply to email and compose new email messages right from the Server
Administrator page, as well as from your web browser window. You can
access your webmail type the url in the browser location window as http://yourdomain.com/webmail,
which will take your to the Horde Webmail application. Log in with your
mailbox name and password. This is perfect for people who travel and
do not have access to nationwide ISP services.
- Check Your Website's
Statistics from your browser window. You can track your visitor
traffic to get an idea of number of hits, most popular pages, referer
info, search engine keywords used, browser types, etc. To view your
stats, go to http://yourdomain.com/cpanel, then under the "Logs"
area, select Webalizer. This will take you to the Webalizer application.
