New Green River Outfitters Building

NEW FULL-SERVICE FLYSHOP AND STORE TO OPENED MAY 6, 2000! DROP BY AND SAY HELLO!!!!

Dutch John, Utah, which until recently was a government town housing Forest Service and Bureau of Reclamation personnel, has finally been privatized. After waiting 10 years, Green River Outfitters finally got to relocate their business.

The new location is at the corner of Hwy 191 and the Little Hole Road. Entry to the property for the time being will be on Little Hole Road. Click on the "thumbnail" map at right to see a full map of the "A" section region.

The facility is 7,000 sq. feet. Along with their outfitter guide service they have a full-service fly shop, raft rental including kick boats and two man inflatable kayaks, shuttle service, complete convenience-store items, food service, deli/restaurant and public showers. A full line of flyfishing equipment is offered, including flyrods, flyreels, lines, clothing, waders, boots, etc. Gas is also available.

The new manager for the food service has over 20 years in the business, and has managed single night functions for up to 1500 people. The long-time owner, Mark Brown, is very excited about his new manager coming on board.
